enterprising young artist, who has been honing his skills at various mediums
since the last seven years, always ready to rise to rise to a challenge, to
push the envelope.

In this, his debut solo
exhibition, Pramod challenges his comfort zone of working in acrylics by
working on an entire series in dry pastels on paper. He has chosen the port
area of Dahanu and Mumbai as his muse and recreates the old dilapidated
structures, and town scapes near the jetties, filling his scenic realm with the
beauty of a delicate medium like dry pastels.
The artist, a lively
young boy, is drawn by the colour black, which in general tends to be
associated with negative implications, at first mention. He strives to
transform this into beauteous renderings as he diligently works with cotton
wool and paper as his tools, chiseling forms from just the colour black.
A show that inspires and
uplifts!
