Gallery Pradarshak is inviting student artists to participate in, and benefit from our renowned signature Annual Student Art Exhibition called Vidyarthi Vishesh or Students’ Special.
This year is our 26th Vidyarthi
Vishesh exhibition and it will be held online on www.gallerypradarshak.com
In addition to all the art
works being exhibited online, select students will get a chance to exhibit
their work at the gallery’s premises - Gallery Pradarshak, at Khar West,
Mumbai.
In keeping with a tradition of
awards started 23 years ago, the Gallery will award two students with a
Certificate and Cash Prize.
Exhibition Dates: 16th August –
31st August ’24 – Both Online & Physical Premises.
Last date of application: 30th
June ‘24 (Midnight).
All the applications are to be
sent by filling in an online form only. The link to the application form is
available at the end. We request the students to read the terms and conditions
before filling in the form.

FAQ’S
1.
Who
can participate?
Students from all visual art
streams can participate. Only students who have given their final academic year
exams (G. D. Art Diploma, Last year MFA) in 2024 are not eligible for
participation.
2. Can I submit an entry which is already a
part of another competition or submitted for another competition?
No. This is not at all
advisable. And if we find out that any such practice is being observed, we
shall disqualify the student from both, present and future participation.
3.
How
do I price my work?
Kindly price your work keeping
in mind the 25% curation fee charged by the gallery. However, the Jury members
will decide the final pricing of all works. If they find your price less, it
will be increased and vice versa.
4.
Is
the entry fee refundable?
No. Whether your entry is
selected or not, the fees are non-refundable.
5.
How
do I send my work if sold?
You can courier your work –
properly packaged, either flat-packed or rolled to the gallery.
6.
How
do I mention the size of my work?
Kindly mention the height of
your work first and then the width - only in inches.
7.
Can I
send college assignments as part of the entry?
No, we do not accept college
assignments as part of entry. If found, the entry shall be rejected at any
point even post selection.
8.
If my
entry is selected for display at gallery, how do I send and take it back from
the gallery?
If selected for display at the
gallery, kindly frame your artwork and send it with hooks behind - in
“ready-to-hang” condition. You can arrange a courier to drop it to the gallery
by the prescribed date, and if unsold, pick it up from the gallery at the end
of the exhibition.
